go-devĀ·il
n.
1. A logging sled.

3. A jointed tool for cleaning an oil pipeline and disengaging obstructions.
4. An iron dart dropped into an oil well to explode a charge of dynamite.
Around here the most common answer is a logging sled. Thus the photograph on our home page. One of southern Arkansas' leading industries is the logging industry. Go-devil's were the predecessors of our modern day log skidders. |
